The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has inaugurated 12 Joint Venture companies under the auspices of the Defence Industries Holding Company Limited (DIHOC) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) to lay the foundations for a defence industrial complex.

Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia Monday inaugurated joint venture companies (JVCs) under the Defence Industries Holding Company (DIHOC) to provide the logistical needs of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) and other security services.

Ghana armed forces wishes to announce to the general public that ongoing recruitment for the year (2022/2023) enlistment protocol portal has just been opened!!!

In 2014, President John Dramani Mahama, made a pronouncement when he visited the factory that, it was going to be the sole manufacturer of all the shoes for the Ghana Armed Forces and other security agencies in the country.

Mr Dominic Nitiwul, Minister of Defence (MOD), who swore-in the members, urged them to contribute to the development of DIHOC and roll-out more factories.
